FIELD: erection of pipe line transport; repair of underwater pipe lines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed chamber has hollow housing and swivel bottom in form of truncated cylindrical shell with load-bearing end members embracing the pipe line; they are provided with arched recesses for pipe line; chamber is also provided with unit for turning the bottom around the pipe line. Arranged in housing are guides of swivel bottom and sealing members. Chamber is provided with superstructure, servicing platforms and sealing and holding members. Hollow housing is made in form of truncated cylindrical shell with flexibly connected end members and with superstructure base. Swivel bottom is turned inside housing embracing the pipe line from below, thus forming chamber between pipe and inner wall of chamber. Housing is connected with centering mounts on both ends through overhangs made in end members for mounting and holding the chamber on pipe line; sealing members of chamber are provided with sealant receiving units.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of performing repair jobs.
