FIELD: mechanical engineering; mounting and demounting of pipes. SUBSTANCE: device with beds for laying the pipes used in set is made in form of horizontally arranged cylindrical container with rectangular cutout in top and with plane bottoms at both end faces serving as supports. Fixed stopper is fitted in hole of one of plane bottoms inside cylindrical container. Movable stopper is installed in hole of pressure plate connected with drive made in form of three screw pairs with ball holddowns synchronously operated by one drive. Set has guide trough and hydraulic holddowns arranged on frame inside cylindrical container and equipped with cover plates with radius of curvature equal to outer radius of pipe and floating along arc. EFFECT: reduced labour input and time taken for testing. 6 cl, 6 dwg
