FIELD: temperature analysis of solidifying metal; temperature analysis in manufacture of castings. SUBSTANCE: device designed for conducting temperature analysis of cast iron with compact graphite includes cylindrical container which is open at the top for immersion and filling with molten metal. Device is provided with at least one, preferably two sensitive temperature sensors and one protective tube concentrically surrounding said sensors which is located in container and is secured on load-bearing member found at the top of container and connected to it by means of supports. Load-bearing member is intended for guiding and locking sensors in dipping them in molten metal sampled for analysis during its solidification. Container has hemispherical lower portion with flattened portion located concentrically; its diameter exceeds diameter of protective tube. Distance between surfaces of flattened portion is lesser than distance between said surfaces and cylindrical portion of container. Inner surface of container is brought in contact with melt drawn for analysis and outer surface is brought in contact with surrounding atmosphere; they are connected in upper portion of container and are equidistant relative to each other. EFFECT: facilitated procedure of drawing samples. 12 cl, 2 dwg
