FIELD: medicine, surgery, resuscitation. SUBSTANCE: electrocardiogram is registered in standard branching to determine the value of R-R intervals. Data should be processed based upon the method of variation pulsometry. One should calculate activity index for sympathetic department of autonomic nervous system (SYM), activity index for parasympathetic department - (PAR), Bayevsky's tension index - (BTI). At SYM values being below 5, PAR - above 20, BTI - below 20 one should predict excessive activity of parasympathetic department; at SYM values being 15-30, PAR - below 10, BTI - 150- 250 - moderate activity of sympathetic department is predicted; at SYM values ranged 30-220, PAR - below 5, BTI ranged 250-5000 - highly pronounced activity of sympathetic department could be concluded on; at SYM - above 220, PAR = 0, BTI - above 5000 - abnormal activity of sympathetic department of autonomic nervous system is stated on. The present method enables to obtain objective evaluation for the degree of autonomic lesions in patients with severe craniocerebral trauma. EFFECT: higher accuracy of diagnostics. 2 dwg, 4 ex
