SUBSTANCE: invention relates to novel pyridinecarboxamidines of the formula (I) or their tautomeric forms where addition to pyridine is carried out at position 2, 3 or 4; R1 means hydrogen atom; Q means C1-C9-bivalent saturated hydrocarbon radical; X means methylene group or oxygen atom; R means hydrogen, halogen atom, nitro-group, methylene-dioxy-group, alkyl or alkoxy-group containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, or their pharmaceutically acceptable nontoxic salts and N-oxides. Compounds of the formula (I) inhibit undesirable cell proliferation, for example, skin cells and cancer cells and can be used in medicine.
