FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves drawing line on X-ray picture along defect boundary. Perpendicular is set in its middle point. Condyle defect height is determined from counterlateral X-ray picture. Epiphysis transection is carried out in perpendicular to crus axis so that medial portion height be equal to perpendicular height drawn from defect boundary. Flat bed is formed on the tibial condyle defect surface. The excised fragment is placed with its cut plane on the prepared bed and fixed with wires to underlying bone. Transplant edge is brought in coincidence with external defect edge. Transplant portion protruding into the articulation cavity is excised along the tibial condyle excision plane. Full scale endoprosthesis-setting operation is carried out on the knee joint. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; full-valued bed built for tibial part of prosthesis. 2 dwg
