SUBSTANCE: invention relates to carbamazepin-base preparations showing the expressed anticonvulsant (antiepileptic) and in a moderate degree antidepressant (thymoleptic) and normotonic effect. Invention proposes an agent made as a tablet that comprises carbamazepin as an active component, starch, magnesium stearate and microcrystalline cellulose, polyvinylpyrrolidone as special additions and agent comprises additionally a cross-linked homopolymer of N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone with nitrogen content 11-12.8% taken in the amount given in the invention claim. Invention provides the development of a simple available form of drug as a tablet containing carbamazepin as an active component.
