FIELD: metal cutting, possibly depth peripheral fine grinding of materials having tendency for flaw occurring at controlling heat flux directed to part. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of imparting rotation and motion relative to worked blank to builtup grinding disc having boss and helical working organ with abrasive layer; realizing axial motion of working organ by means of units for axial feed and fixation. Said units are in the form of elastic toroidal bottle with controlled pressure source. Bottle is placed on boss between ring adjoining to movable end of helical working organ and end of nut screwed on boss. It allows to perform rough working at maximum stroke of working organ and finish working by means of its continuous surface. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and quality of grinding, lowered wear of tool. 4 cl, 3 dwg
