FIELD: metallurgy, namely, plants for continuous casting of metal. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes mold mounted in frame of rocking mechanism; cooling system in the form of units secured to frame of rocking mechanism with possibility of their adjoining to mold or to frame of rocking mechanism; flexible members for connecting cooling system with pipelines. Each unit adjoined to mold includes housing with through cooling ducts. At one side spring-loaded bottom-free sleeves having end and radial sealings are arranged in said ducts. At other side cooling ducts are connected with flexible members. Each unit adjoined to frame of rocking mechanism has housing with through cooling ducts provided at one side with end sealings and connected at other side with flexible members.
