FIELD: machine engineering, namely finishing parts with use of energy of ultrasonic oscillations.

SUBSTANCE: system includes acoustic head with lugs on its body and carriage for mounting head in machine tool with possibility of shifting it along its lengthwise axis and for rotating it around its vertical axis. Carriage of acoustic head has two portions; one portion is in the form of stationary base secured to movable carriage of machine tool. Other portion is in the form of movable base with contact zone. The last is joined with lugs of acoustic head through fixing members arranged in shaped grooves. In movable base there are drawing-in mechanism and lever with locking member.

EFFECT: improved design, enhanced efficiency and quality, lowered time period of treatment process.
