SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes acoustic system having magnetostriction converter mounted in housing and connected with concentrator to end part of which connecting member in the form of resonance wave guide is secured; detachable ultrasound irradiator having working nozzle in its end; lug secured to outer surface of housing and designed for mounting apparatus in machine tool. In order to enhance working efficiency due to shortened additional time period, said detachable ultrasound irradiator is in the form of solid or split resonance disc. Surface along generatrix of circle of solid resonance disc is designed for forming working nozzle of detachable ultrasound irradiator and it has cutting edge for cutting metal or it is in the form of wholly spherical surface designed for finishing parts. Solid resonance disc may be divided at least by two sectors whose surfaces along generatrix of circle are used for forming working nozzles operating according to technological demands of part working process. Split resonance disc is in the form of sectors being working nozzles operating according to technological demands of part working process.
