FIELD: virology, biotechnology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of culturing cells and tissues and preparing and study of viruses. The strain of cells PK-15/A11 is obtained by cloning piglet kidney cell line PK-15 by method of limiting dilution and passage in Eagle's MEM medium with 5% of calve fetal or newborn calve serum blood and the following adaptation for 5 passages to culturing in Eagle's MEM medium with 5% of cattle serum blood treated with polyethylene glycol. Karyotype is stable for 50 passages. Modal class is represented by cells containing 31 chromosome (58%). Cell culture PK-15/A11 is sensitive to different strains of classic swine plague virus and presents the industrial strain for preparing vaccine against classic swine plague. Invention allows to obtain the strain of piglet kidney transplantable cells that is stable by biological indices and it can be used for production of vaccines against classic swine plague.
