FIELD: blasting of industrial explosives with use of optical and electric initiation aids. SUBSTANCE: procedure can be used in any branch of industry which employs explosives. Procedure of initiation of industrial explosives consists in wiring of explosion circuit that incorporates light- sensitive initiated explosive, light guide to which initiation electric pulse of current with specified amplitude and duration is fed from low-capacity power supply source to blast industrial explosives with the use of detonation caused by initiated light-sensitive explosive that is deposited directly on light-emitting pad of light guide. Objective of invention lies in development of method of supply of light pulse to used charges, in simplified structural implementation and reduced energy consumption by explosion circuit, in raised reliability and safety of blasting operations.
