FIELD: pharmaceutical technology, antibiotics. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of isolation of phenoxy-methylpenicillin potassium salt involving the first butyl acetate extraction and soda re- extraction where phenoxymethylpenicillin acid is precipitated from soda re-extract at pH from 1.5 to 1.7 followed by isolation of crystalline phenoxymethypenicillin acid which is dissolved in an organic solvent. From the prepared concentrated solution phenoxymethylpenicillin potassium salt is precipitated using potassium acetate taken as measured from 0.3 to 0.35 l per 1 billion of U of phenoxymethylpenicillin containing in the concentrated solution.
