FIELD: biotechnology, antibiotics. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of erythromycin. Method involves filtration of cultural fluid obtained in the process of biosynthesis. Filtration is carried out after termination of biosynthesis process directly on membrane filtration modulus consisting of ceramic membrane members being their internal surface is applied by membrane made of fibrous silicon carbide crystals with pore size from 0.2 to 1 mcm in tangential regime with linear rate of cultural fluid flow in channel of filtrating member from 4 to 6 m/s. If necessary, cultural fluid before it feeding to filtration is diluted with water in the ratio from 1:1 to 13. After each filtration procedure washing out of filtered members of membrane modulus is carried out without disassembling and in recirculation regime by dropping the first mud portion of washing out water.
