FIELD: microbiological industry, vitamins. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method for isolation of vitamin B12 from bacterial mass. Method involves concentrating ammonia eluate using nanofiltration that is carried out in regimen of tangential (flow-type) filtration in value of transmembrane pressure from 0.02 to 0.05 MPa that provides the filtration rate of ammonia eluate in carrying out the concentration process from 15 to 20 l/m2•h. Nominal threshold for retention of nanofiltrating membrane is 400 Da that provides practically complete retention of vitamin B12. Method provides the enhancement of yield and quality of preparation, to simplify technological process, to reduce raw and energy consumptions due to exclusions of the following stages: adsorption of vitamin of activated carbon, desorption from carbon with isopropyl alcohol an aqueous solution, distillation off of alcohol and evaporation of an aqueous concentrate.
