FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy; production of complex flux for steelmaking process. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes mixing by joint wet grinding of charge containing dolomite and iron-including material, drying, annealing and high-temperature nodulizing of charge in oxidizing atmosphere in rotary tubular furnace followed by cooling the flux thus obtained. Prior to grinding, binding additive is introduced into charge in the amount of 1.5 to 3.5% of mass of charge and preliminary nodulizing is performed in low-temperature section of furnace. CaO/Fe2O3 ratio is maintained in dry charge within 16-22. EFFECT: increased productivity of furnace; improved quality of flux and reduced emissions into atmosphere. 1 cl, 2 tbl
