FIELD: radiant heating of apartments by off-line local heating systems. SUBSTANCE: circulating burner unit has combustion chamber incorporating multiple- stage air feed to burner and shielding barrier at flame originating section to prevent direct contact between flame and radiant tube; this barrier is cooled down by circulating combustion products; combustion chamber wall has holes for passing circulating combustion products, sectional area of all holes in chamber wall of gas burner and area of annular slit between shielding barrier and inner surface of radiator being in the ratio of 0.4-1.0. EFFECT: minimized temperature rise of shielding barrier and radiator and emission of pollutants (carbon and nitrogen oxides). 3 dwg
