FIELD: forestry and agriculture. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has hollow tube, working tool, stop, and two handles. Hollow tube has curved portion extending at right angle from its upper part. One of handles is positioned at curved portion. Other handle is attached through branch pipe to tube at side opposite to curved part. Stop is rigidly fixed on tube end and is provided with ring, to which working tool made in the form of hollow truncated cone is rigidly attached. Longitudinal axes of tube and ring with truncated cone are extending in parallel with one another. Apparatus may be used for growing of forest crops from seedlings with closed roots. EFFECT: convenient and high-quality planting of containerized seedlings under any growing conditions on any kind of soils and reduced labor consumption. 1 dwg
