SUBSTANCE: manual device for forming holes for planting containerized seedlings belongs to the field of forestry, mainly to the technology of creating forest crops with seedlings with a closed root system grown in containers, in addition, it can be used in agriculture. The device contains a frame with running wheels, a hollow tube with a through hole for a seedling and a working body for the formation of holes. A slider is mounted inside the frame with travel wheels. In this case, the hollow tube is rigidly fixed on the slider, on the opposite side of which the cylindrical gearbox is rigidly fixed. The input shaft of the gearbox is connected by means of a gear to the toothed rack, and the output shaft is connected to the lever of the working body, made in the form of a hollow truncated cone. The slider is connected to the frame by means of a spring, and the toothed rack is connected by a spring to the hollow tube. The design of the device is less metal-consuming and cumbersome.

EFFECT: invention improves the quality of planting seedlings.
