FIELD: machine engineering, possibly operations for working openings in blanks by means of axial tool. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of applying frequency modulated ultrasonic oscillations simultaneously to cutting tool in radial-axial direction and to cutting fluid in front of cutting zone and in contact zones of cutting tool and blank. It intensifies penetrability of cutting fluid and decreases friction between cutting tool and blank.
