FIELD: determination of activity of solid-phase catalysts. SUBSTANCE: method determining relative activity of catalysts consists in evaluation of activity of solid catalysts by degree of absorption of energy of electromagnetic radiation by specimen of catalyst and in comparison of this energy with energy absorbed by newly activated catalyst which activity is assumed to be 100%.
