FIELD: devices for dampening vibrations and impacts; protection of electronic equipment mounted on mobile carriers. SUBSTANCE: proposed shock absorber includes upper bearing strip 1 and lower baring strip 2 and flexible member connected with said strips; flexible member is made in form of two pairs of tore-shaped elastic rings 3,4 and 5,6. Specific feature of shock absorber consists in position of tore-shaped elastic rings which are located one inside other at angular displacement in respective vertical planes. Upper and lower bearing strips 1 and 2 have cavities 7 and 8 directed towards each other where upper branches 9 and 20 of tore-shaped elastic rings 3, 4, 5 and 6 are secured. Each tore-shaped elastic ring 3, 4, 5 and 6 may b provided with steel wire turns 11 whose ends 12 may be brought to holes 13 and 14 found in walls of upper and lower strips 1 and 2.
