FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed mechanical valve clearance compensator with valve rotator consists of pusher resting on valve spring plate. Square thread is cut on inner side of pusher along which pusher is turned into compensator. Spiral spring twists. One end spring is secured in slot on inner boss of pusher, and other end is secured on boss of compensator. Splines are made on lower end of pusher. Said splines are in meshing with splines on edge of valve spring plate, thus providing rotation of valve. EFFECT: increased service life and simplified design of engine valve actuating mechanism. 1 dwg
