FIELD: oil industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed settler has housing provided with partitions bounding the hydrophobic layer, pipe line with water distributor, pipe lines for discharge of separated oil and cleaned water, level regulator of "oil-water" interface. Housing is made in form of two inclined cylindrical tubes located at angle and interconnected in their upper portion by means of horizontal pipe. Fitted in the center of horizontal pipe is pipe line provided with water distributor in form of perforated tube with slots. Mounted on end section of settling water compartment is hood for accumulation of gas and settled oil; gas equalizing line is connected with hydrophobic layer compartment and is used for evacuation of free gas to hood. Mounted inside both inclined tubes on hinges in parallel with their walls is stack of parallel horizontal plates. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of cleaning water. 2 cl, 1 dwg
