FIELD: production of rolled nonwoven material for roadway and construction reinforcement. SUBSTANCE: method involves laying transverse threads perpendicular to longitudinal threads for forming net with rectangular meshes, with transverse threads being laid by rotational motion oriented in single direction while providing relative displacement of thread perpendicular to longitudinal threads; sequentially offsetting layer in opposite directions along longitudinal threads while passing beyond material edges for value of Z₂ = Z₁+2, where Z₁ and Z₂ are odd numbers of material mesh pitches. During accomplishment of motions thread laying tool performs rotational movements in single direction without accelerating speeding up and braking actions. EFFECT: increased efficiency in laying threads and improved quality of reinforcement material by uniform pulling of threads. 1 dwg
