FIELD: portable gas analyzing instruments and samplers. SUBSTANCE: pulse electric discharge is created in controlled flow of oxygen-carrying gas across inlet to measurement pipe-line to form ozone employed as indication mark. Ozone sensor installed at outlet from pipe-line registers change of chemical composition of gas. By signals from timer of microprocessor time interval between formation and registration of indication mark is measured and is used to determine gas flow rate. Generator of pulse discharge comes in the form of high-frequency inductive or capacitive generator.
