FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vehicle options or devices used on stationary objects for observation in line of sight and it is designed for protection of eyes by means of visor from sun rays or artificial light beams. Proposed visor consists of frame, foam integral mixture packing and single-layer film covering made of polyvinyl chloride. Frame is made flexible, with support surface in form of grid interaction with fixing elements, hole intersected by built-in spring and cylindrical surface made of noncurrent-conducting material and rigidly coupled with frame provided with acute angle plate projections. Weld of covering has no burns and displacements relative to opposite connection of its cutout articles fitted with interference relative to packing. Strength of weld is 78.4 N, burning rate of sun visor does not exceed 100 mm/min, Shore hardeness number is 60-90, covering extension rate does not exceeds 50?5 mm/min at width of covering strip equal to 4 cm. Heat resistance of sun visor is determined at maximum thermocyclic loading during 144 h. invention provides device featuring sufficiently high level of passive safety, high quality in manufacture and efficiency in service. EFFECT: improved quality of sun visor. 3 dwg
