POLYVALENT VACCINE FOR IMMUNOPROPHYLAXIS AND IMMUNOTHERAPY OF DISEASES CAUSED BY OPPORTUNISTIC MICROORGANISMS Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

Abstract RU 2209081 C1

FIELD: biotechnology, medicine, immunology. SUBSTANCE: polyvalent vaccine used for immunoprophylaxis and immunotherapy of diseases caused by opportunistic microorganisms comprises a mixture of antigens isolated from strains Klebsiella pneumoniae, Proteus vulgaris, Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus. Vaccine comprises lipopolysaccharide associated with external membrane protein as antigen from Klebsiella pneumoniae, proteoglycan of chemical composition: 10.0-20.0% of protein, 30.0-40.0% of carbohydrates and molecular mass above 20 000 Da. Vaccine comprises lipopolysaccharide associated with external membrane protein as antigen from Proteus vulgaris of chemical composition: 40.0-60.0% of protein, 25.0-35.0% of carbohydrates and molecular mass above 20 000 Da. Vaccine comprises lipopolysaccharide associated with external membrane protein as antigen from Escherichia coli of chemical composition: 16.0-20.0% of protein, 15.0-30.0% of carbohydrate and molecular mass above 20 000 Da. Vaccine comprises antigen of cellular wall as an antigen from Staphylococcus aureus containing teichoic acid, peptidoglycan and labile proteins of chemical composition: 13.0-21.0% of protein, 8.0-16.0% of carbohydrates and molecular mass above 20 000 Da. Antigens of indicated strains are taken in the following ratio: 1: 1: 1:1.2 g, respectively, by dry weight per 1 l of vaccine. Concentrating and purification of antigens are carried out by ultrafiltration and diafiltration. Vaccine shows high immunogenicity and stability. EFFECT: improved preparing method, valuable medicinal properties of vaccine. 2 tbl, 1 ex
