FIELD: medicine, gastroenterology. SUBSTANCE: one should register electric gastric activity. Additionally, in dynamics, one should detect variation coefficient in distributing the period of slow gastric wave. At detecting it to be above 0.05 one should conclude upon satisfactory state of gastric motor apparatus. At detecting it to be below 0.05 it is possible to state upon unfavorable sate of gastric motor state. Its increase in dynamics is evaluated as favorable prognostic sign.
