FIELD: manufacture of articles of composition fibrous material. SUBSTANCE: installation for making tubular articles, mainly tube branches, fittings includes bobbin holder; impregnating apparatus having bath, receiving and guiding rollers; mechanism for preliminarily tensioning band; mandrel mechanism for winding band; device for laying band onto bent mandrel. Installation is provided with mechanism for finally tensioning band in the form of rotary frame with two rollers in its end portions. Pulley joined with weight is mounted in rotation axis of frame. Band tension compensating device is in the form of spring-loaded lever rocking on axle and having free end provided with ribbed roller and comb. Bobbin holder is provided with distributing grate and it is in the form of framework with struts supporting reels with bobbins arranged in such a way that bobbins are vertically shifted one relative to another. Each bobbin supports mechanism in the form of belt brake for preliminary tension of band. Impregnating apparatus includes heaters and mechanism for squeezing binder in the form of lower and upper sets of vertical plates mounted with possibility of their mutually opposite vertical motion. Mandrel mechanism is mounted in posts; one post is driven. Device for laying band onto mandrel is in the form of tie rod having in its ends ribbed roller and comb respectively or bracket and comb. Mean portion of tie rod is joined with rack drive for performing reciprocation motion with use of ball joint. Arm of tie rod between ball joint and lower ribbed roller and comb is provided with steering wheel for angular movement.
