SUBSTANCE: method of control over channel for switching system is realized with possibility of periodic test of condition of channel for each switch in switching system of double active structure. Control over tested condition is conducted by means of data base and as result operator identifies change in states of switches. In accordance with invention there is provided standby channel implemented for search in actual active channel in given point with the aid of data base. There is secured way to test channel for switching system, in correspondence with it channel is tested for entire interval or for certain interval relative to active and standby channels.
