DEVICE FOR PHYSIOTHERAPY Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

Abstract RU 2210399 C2

FIELD: medical equipment, in particular, apparatuses for physiotherapy combining the action of three physiotherapeutic factors: dosed local hyperthermia, electrophoresis and electrostimulation. SUBSTANCE: the device has a power unit, unit for connection at least of one electrode, controlled current generator connected to the power unit via a current cut-off unit. The device has a monitoring and current protection unit, current display unit and a current failure indicator. The device is provided with a timer assembly, heating control assembly and a procedure start control unit. The controlled generator is connected to the current waveform and level controller, via an emergency cut-off relay - to the electrode connection unit, and via a current measuring unit - to the monitoring and current protection unit and to the current display unit. The monitoring failure indicator, to the current cut- off unit, to the procedure start control unit, to the emergency cut-off relay and to the current waveform and level controller, which is connected to the procedure start control unit. The timer assembly is made in the form of the timer proper connected to the display unit, to the comparison unit, and to the procedure start control unit. The comparison unit is connected to the procedure time controller and to the procedure start unit. The heating control assembly has a temperature setter, temperature monitoring and protection unit, regulator fed from the power unit, emergency cut-off relay, measuring unit, temperature failure indicator and a temperature display unit. The temperature setter is connected to the procedure start control unit, to the temperature monitoring and protection unit and to the regulator. The measuring unit is connected to the electrode connection unit, to the temperature display unit, regulator and to the temperature monitoring and protection unit, which is connected to the temperature failure indicator, to the emergency cut-off relay and to the procedure start control unit. The regulator is additionally connected to the emergency cut-off relay, that is coupled to the electrode connection unit. The device provides for simultaneous hyperthermia, stimulation, electrophoresis. EFFECT: enhanced safety in operation. 1 dwg
