FIELD: respiratory systems. SUBSTANCE: absorbent based on copper sulfate-impregnated activated carbon contains, in particular, carbon-mineral sorbent with summary pore volume 0.78-0.95 cu.cm/g, which is obtained from coal involving vapor-gas activation. Composition: 12-15% copper sulfate, 11-27% mineral of activated carbon, and carbon constituent thereof - the rest. Preparation: double-step impregnation of activated carbon with copper sulfate taken in amounts 65-85% of the pore volume with interval between impregnation steps at least 3 h long and drying after each step, ageing, heat treatment, and screening of granules. EFFECT: increased strength and stabilized absorption. 2 cl, 8 tbl
