FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of sorption technology and can be used in processes of purification of waste industrial gases or in filtering means of individual and collective protection of respiration organs. Method of sorbent production includes preliminary heating of active coal with overall porosity of 0.8-1.2 cm3/g, its impregnation with solution of nickel chloride obtained with its dissolving in 0.5-5% water solution of sulphuric acid, weathering of impregnated product, thermal procession and sieving. Preliminary heating of active coal, its impregnation and weathering are realised in the same apparatus, i.e. mixer, with heating at temperature of 30°-70°C, weathering is realised during 0.5-1.5 hours at stirring.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and acceleration of the process of sorbent production with preservation of high saturation cap ability of ammonia.
