FIELD: powder metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: iron-based powder represents mixture of first alloyed powder (major part), second alloyed powder (lesser part), and solid lubricant. First alloyed powder contains, wt %: chromium 14-30, molybdenum 1-5, vanadium 0-5, and tungsten 0-6 (summary content of Mo, Va, and W is at least 3%), other strong carbide-forming elements 0-1.5, oxygen in minimum amount to form carbides with all strong carbide- forming elements present, the rest being iron and accidental impurities. Second alloyed powder is austenite stainless steel providing preparation of powder suitable for manufacturing parts with elevated stability against high-temperature oxidation. EFFECT: increased oxidation resistance, coefficient of thermal expansion, and density. 9 cl, 3 dwg, 5 ex _
