FIELD: mobile communication systems. SUBSTANCE: method used for continuous user s data transmission over common- user return channel in mobile communication system with disposed allocated return channel involves following procedures. User s data are divided into plurality of segmented messages in case these user s data are longer than data segment in common-user return channel frame. Plurality of segmented messages is then transferred in data segments of serial frames over common-user return channel. In addition method includes acknowledgement of segmented message reception by base station by receiving base-station response message in mobile station indicating that segmented messages are received. Common-user channel preferably functions as logically allocated variable-power channel. EFFECT: enhanced throughput of data transmission; reduced time for response and delay of data burst transmission. 23 cl, 17 dwg
