FIELD: radio communication. SUBSTANCE: process of transmission of data in mobile communication system provides for transmission of user's data over common channel when user's data are generated under suspended state. According to first variant of realization process includes comparison of length of generated data with standard length for regular transmission of data under active state. If generated data are shorter than standard length frequency of generation of data generated under suspended state is compared with standard frequency of generation for regular transmission of data under active state. If frequency of generation of data generated under suspended state is beneath than standard frequency of generation than transfer to package substate takes place to segment data over length of frame of common channel of traffic. But if there exists no package substate segmented data are transmitted over common channel of traffic assigned in advance. In agreement with second variant of realization process consists in that transmitting party segments data in frames having certain length when data which should be transmitted are generated under suspended state and then segmented data are sent over common channel of traffic assigned in advance. After reception of transmitted segmented data under suspended state receiving party once more arranges received frames and sends once again arranged frame to upper level. EFFECT: increased efficiency of employment of channel by way of transmission of data over common channel of traffic without transition to active state. 23 cl, 7 dwg, 1 tbl
