FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for use in piston engines with crank gears. Engine contains one or more pistons 4, each installed for reciprocating in corresponding cylinder 2, being hinge-connected with connecting rod 6 connected with corresponding crank 1 0 on crankshaft 7. connecting rod 6 is connected with one end 11 of elongated link member 14 hinge connected with crank 10 coupled with said member in some point between its ends. Second end of link member is essentially rod 18 whose movement is limited by support for turning around axis of turning 21 parallel to axis 8 of crankshaft. Support consists of two movable support members 20, 26 interconnected for turning of first movable support member 20 relative to second movable support member 26 around axis of turning 21. first movable support member 20 is connected by rod 18 so that only relative sliding movement in direction of rod 18 is permitted. Actuating device 30, 32 is connected with support being made with possibility of selectively displacing support in first direction square to axis 8 of crankshaft 7, and in second direction which is cross to first direction.
