FIELD: electrical engineering, equipment for high-power SHF cathode-ray devices, magnetic focusing facilities employing lengthy solenoid with liquid cooling. SUBSTANCE: magnetic focusing facility includes body produced from nonmagnetic material with branch pipes to supply and discharge cooling liquid comprising internal and external coaxial cylinders with face flanges, system of coils connected in series and anchored on bushings installed on internal cylinder of body along its axis, system of shells placed coaxially with coils and fabricated from insulation material. Inner radius of shells exceeds outer radius of coils. Each coil is monolithic and is made up of two sections separated by partition of insulation material put between sections and comes in the form of disc. Partitions of even coils protrude beyond limits of outer radius of coils and are fixed along perimeter between proper shells. Bushings of even coils have longitudinal grooves in external surfaces and radial spacing straps positioned between grooves in bushings of even coils identically per each pair of coils are installed between faces of adjacent coils. Section of each coil comes in the form of ordinary of double disc winding wound from enameled rectangular wire with turn-to-turn layers of impregnated paper.
