FIELD: mechanical engineering; turbine building. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to axial-flow compressors. Proposed multi-stage compressor contains housing 1 with axle 2 fixed relative to housing. Said axle carries bearings 3 with fitted on impellers 5, 5, 6. drive (shown in Drawing by arrow) is provided to compressor impeller 6. Gear rim is made at one side of disk hub of impeller 6. Gear rims are made at both sides on hubs of disks of intermediate impellers. Transfer mechanism is installed on axle 2 between disk 7 of impeller 6 and disk 9 of impeller 5. Said mechanism is made in form of gear train consisting of gears, bushing fixed relative to axle 2 and post coupled with bushing stationary. Gears come into meshing with disk gear rim. Transfer mechanisms (gear trains in this case) can be made with different ratios providing possibility of combination of any speeds of rotation of impellers. Number of impellers in compressor is not limited. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities, provision of possibility of rotation of impellers in different directions at different speeds. 4 cl, 3 dwg
