FIELD: oil producing industry. SUBSTANCE: invention to methods of checking condition of rotary-type oil producing equipment using induction motors as drives. According to proposed method, signal produced by vibration of unit structure members is recorded and analyzed. Used as such signal is signal from variable component of sum of phase supply currents detected by voltage pickup installed simultaneously on three phases of supply cable. Then waveform and amplitude of signal is analyzed and compared with magnitudes obtained during preceding measurements and possibility of further operation of unit is determined. Invention makes it possible to evaluate condition of operating unit and forecast failures. EFFECT: provision of reliable evaluation of unit condition. 6 dwg
