SUBSTANCE: method for preparing 2-quinoxaline carboxylic acid involves contacting 2- methylquinoxaline with microorganism providing its oxidation to acid. Invention shows possibility for usage of 11 strains of microorganisms (fungi, bacteria) of 8 species. Prepared mixture is incubated in medium for culturing microorganisms placed into flask or fermenter. After termination of incubation the end product is isolated if necessary by extraction and purified. Method provides the yield of acid 81-90% depending on time of culturing.
