FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves recording electroencephalogram in dynamic mode. Benzodiazepine line preparation of short action period is intravenously administered in progressive doses using tittering method. Alpha- and beta-waves being detected in brain bioelectric activity pattern on electroencephalogram are considered as positive prognosis sign. The lower is preparation dose resulting in positive electroencephalogram rearrangement, the more favorable is prediction result. Lack of positive electroencephalogram restructuring patterns unfavorably influences the prediction result. Midazolam is administered at a dose of 0.02 mg/kg to 0.1 mg/kg. Reliability of electroencephalogram restructuring is proved with flumazenyl administration at a dose corresponding to administered Midazolam dose and observation of reverse electroencephalogram rearrangement nature. EFFECT: high reliability of prognosis. 3 cl, 9 dwg
