SUBSTANCE: method for making spindle of titanium alloy for pipeline fitting comprises steps of thermal oxidizing of blank; working it for forming thread; before thermal oxidizing deforming blank in β- range or subjecting it to heat treatment at temperature Tpc -30 C, where Tpc -temperature of polymorpous conversion. In concrete variants of invention thread forming is realized at removing surface oxide film until basic metal. EFFECT: enhanced reliability, increased useful life period of pipeline fitting due to lowered corrosion degree of spindle and other parts being in contact with spindle through working fluid, improved fire resistance of fitting. 4 cl, 2 dwg, 1 ex
