FIELD: pipeline fittings, in particular, pipeline gates for regulating flow rate of high-temperature steam or water under high pressure. SUBSTANCE: slide gate has casing with closure and strap coupled with casing. Spindle has threaded portion in its upper part and is mounted for vertical displacement through strap. Main bush is positioned under plank. Closure is provided with sealing member. Spindle is fixed with its lower part in holder connected with plate engageable with seat. Spindle is manufactured from titanium alloy and its surface is covered with oxide film formed upon high-temperature oxidation of spindle. Oxide film is extending over the length of spindle up to threaded portion. Oxide film imparts corrosion resistance to spindle and other members of slide gate, which come into contact with spindle through working fluid. EFFECT: increased efficiency, enhanced reliability in operation and increased service life of spindle and slide valve. 3 cl, 2 dwg
