FIELD: construction of furnace installations for heat treatment of mineral raw material for production of cement clinker. SUBSTANCE: the installation has a rotating furnace and a vertical combustion chamber in the form of a sectional shaft provided with longitudinal walls and perforated walls of beams installed one above another and inlet and outlet cavities with floors adjoining them. The gas duct of the rotating furnace is connected to the sectional shaft and a cooler that is connected through an air conduit to the gas duct of the rotating furnace. The perforated walls of the sectional shaft are installed row upon row in parallel with one another. The inlet and outlet cavities are connected through windows in the longitudinal walls in turn with the gas duct of the rotating furnace and the gas ducts of gases outgoing from the sectional shaft.
