FIELD: metallurgy and other industries; heat treatment of different mineral materials.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with a method of two-stage calcination of the granular and grained materials and may be used in different industries, in particular, for minerals heat treatment using the reheater and the short rotating furnace, and is more exact, in the method of two-stage calcination of granular and grained materials used in metallurgy for calcination of ores, in timber industry, in building materials industry for production of the cement clinker, lime, haydite gravel and other materials. The method of two-stage calcination of the granular and grained materials includes: preparation of a raw stock, its calcination with consequent sintering in the short rotating furnace and cooling of the produced product. Calcination is realized in the gravitational descending layer at a cross-flow filtration of gases emanating from the cooling zone. At calcination they additionally use the emanating gasses of the rotating furnace and at the first stage of calcination a combined filtration of gases is conducted: together with the cross-flow filtration they use both the straight-flow and the counter-flow filtration at the ratio of height of a layer with a combined filtration of gases to a total height of the filtering layer equal to 0.1-0.5. The technical result is improvement of a method of two-stage calcination of the granular and grained materials by enlarging the area of gasses filtration in a layer of a material, uniformity of its heating and stabilization of process of heat treatment with increase of productivity and efficiency of the process.
EFFECT: enlarged area of gasses filtration, improved uniformity of the material heating and stabilization of the heat treatment process, increased its productivity and efficiency.
