FIELD: thermal sets of shaft type used to work material in process of production of quick lime. SUBSTANCE: sectional shaft heat exchanger includes shaft with longitudinal and perforated walls, windows and shelves fixed above them. Conduits under them are connected in turn with gas ducts supplying heat transfer agent and gas ducts discharging waste gases which are linked on opposite sides to longitudinal walls. Gas duct supplying heat transfer agent is divided by partition into fast heater and cooler. Gas ducts releasing gases from cooler are equipped with burners.
