FIELD: equipment of food making industry branch, namely apparatuses for lengthwise and crosswise cutting products, namely cutting bread for making rusks, possibly in other industry branches for cutting low hardness materials such as foamed plastics and so on. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes lengthwise cutting unit in the form of pair of rotor shafts with cutting edges mutually engaging in horizontal plane and crosswise cutting unit in the form of set of disc cutters and holding drawing members. Said units are mounted one under another in such a way that zones for lengthwise and crosswise cutting are arranged in the same vertical plane. One rotor shaft arranged over disc cutters has circular grooves separating cutting edges by sets of successively arranged cutting members spaced along length of shaft by value multiple to distance between disc cutters. Rotor shaft is mounted in such a way that each groove is arranged over respective disc cutter. EFFECT: enhanced arrangement of cutting members providing high quality cutting of products by pieces with accurate geometry. 8 cl, 7 dwg
